Raila Odinga, the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), is one of Kenya’s wealthiest politicians.
Raila’s net worth is reported to be above KSh 40 billion, and he has a home to match.
While the politician has a number of houses across the country, including in Nairobi and along the coast, his most prestigious property is in Kisumu County’s Riat Hills.
Raila gave a peak into his opulent home after hosting a Christmas party in December 2021. The event, dubbed Baba’s Christmas Wonderland, drew hundreds of people.
“It is a story about fortitude and care for the people in society,” Odinga said at the function.
The massive structure overlooking Kisumu International Airport was photographed towering magnificently on Riat Hills.
Given its size and a brown tiled roof, Raila’s property could easily be mistaken for a hotel. To keep attackers out, the residence is ringed by a perimeter wall, and its size assures that no one can readily figure out where the politician is.
According to online reports, the mansion contains more than 50 rooms. Raila’s beautiful enclosure is home to a variety of vegetation.
According to an aerial photograph of the property, it features a four-car garage.
This is a photo compilation of the much talked about KSh 1 billion Raila Odinga house. The luxurious mansion is built at the top of Riat Hills in Kisumu. It has Jacuzzis, a humongous helipad, conference halls, a theatre and state of the art kitchen.
