Wajackoyah’s running mate Justina Reveals they met through social media

Presidential aspirant Prof George Wajackoyah’s running mate Justina Wangui has said she met the legal practitioner via social media.

Wangui disclosed that she was introduced to him through her hubby Alex who saw his photo online.

In an interview on Citizen Digital, the beautiful mother said her hubby encouraged her to apply for
the position of a running mate after seeing an advert.

“The very first time I saw Prof was on social media, he had been photographed wearing Gideon boots and it was my hubby who showed me the photo. Then Roots Party did an advert for this running mate position and we had that discussion with my hubby and he encouraged me to send my CV,” she said.

Wangui disclosed that the same CV she sent was the one that she used to apply for PS position in 2018 but was unsuccessful.

“Funny enough, Roots Party called me for an interview and we were nine people. And there was a communication from Prof that if you have a spouse, you come with them. So that they can be sure you’re family is supporting you,” she added.

Wangui said she decided to run for the top position after failing to clinch a position in Mavoko as
an independent candidate.

She added that she saw the same problems people had then still recurring and the cry for help
they had, which prompted her to Gor for a bigger and more impactful position.

“We went to the interview with my husband, they asked us questions and we went home. The next day they called us and asked us to come and they told us we emerged winners out of the nine candidates and they asked us if we were ready and we said yes.

Although she had never met Wajackoyah before, she said the two have gelled well and have the same vision and she further said that her role as a running mate is to support the leader achieve his goal should he be elected as president.

Wajackoyah and his running mate Justina Wangui promised to enjoy several puffs of weed in public if they win the August 9 presidential contest.

The law scholar settled Wangui as his running mate in April after a series of consultations with party officials and other stakeholders.
