List of Kenyan Schools That Pay Teachers Over 100K Salary Per Month

However, did you know that some Kenyan schools pay their teachers more than Ksh100,000 per month?

A secondary school teacher earns an average of Ksh35,000 per month, while a primary school teacher earns an average of Ksh25,000 per month.

Many of these schools strive to provide the best education possible for their students, and as a result, they frequently charge annual tuition of at least one million Kenyan shillings.

Furthermore, the majority of them follow the well-known British educational system known as IGCSE, which is more advanced than both KCSE and KCPE.

To work as a teacher at one of these institutions, you must have a certain set of skills, such as fluency in Chinese, French, German, or Italian.

A great fitness instructor or music teacher is highly considered at these institutions.

If you have family in the United Kingdom, the United States, or Canada, or if you attended school in any of those countries, you will have a better chance of getting employed here.

  13. Gems Cambridge International School.

If you are hired as a teacher in any of these institutions, your starting salary must be at least 100,000 Kenyan Shillings, regardless of whether you are a recent college graduate.

Teachers’ salaries in Kenya are sadly not something to be proud of, given the amount of work and effort that goes into being a professional teacher in Kenya.
