Nairobi woman steals lover’s household items, leaving house empty after sleepover

An Embakasi resident who had planned an action-packed weekend is now incurring substantial losses as his preparations turned out to be a complete nightmare.

The man, whose identity will be kept private, wrote to us on Monday, July 11. He described how astonished he was to return home to an empty house just hours after having a one-night stand with a female acquaintance.

The victim describes how, in his own words, the incident that was reported to Kwa Mbao Police station [OB 06 OF 10/07/2022] initially started as an unplanned stay on Friday night when the woman he had known for a year impulsively asked to see him.

Given that the two had previously linked up numerous times, the request hardly came as a surprise.

More over five months had passed since they first met.

It surely felt like a blessing from the ancestors given the icy weather in the city.

He had no idea, though, that losing all of his cash and personal goods would put him in a dire financial situation.

The victim wrote to Cyprian Nyakundi saying:

“Hi, Nyakundi,

Can you please help me get to know where this lady is?

She is wanted.

We have been friends with her since last year and she once came to my house na aka stay like 2 days.

Tumekaa like 5 months hatujaonana so last Friday akanicall akasema anakam and I told her ni sawa so akakam jioni then on Sato nikaitwa job mapema nikatoka nikamuacha kwa hao.

So kutoka job nimepata amenichota vitu kwa nyumba na akapotea nazo plus pesa.

Nimereport na niko na OB.

Ukimwanika maybe tunaweza jua ako wapi.

Her Facebook name is Triz Wanzia.”
