Vincent Mboya says he forgot Kiswahili after moving abroad, looking for a teacher
According to content creator Vincent Mboya, he is looking for a Kiswahili teacher.
Nine months after moving to Canada, the contentious YouTuber voiced his concern that he’s starting to lose his language skills.
Mboya said that since he now speaks English, Spanish, and French most of the time, moving to Toronto has drastically decreased his opportunities to speak Kiswahili in an internet video.
He fears that he will become less proficient in his original tongue as a result of his lack of practice.
The young man asked people to get in touch with him on social media if they could help him learn Kiswahili again.
“It has been nine months since I came to Toronto, and I’ve started forgetting Kiswahili. Here, I speak English, Spanish, and French, and I can’t remember the last time I spoke Kiswahili.
I’m getting worried because I’m forgetting my language. If you can help me, please DM me on Instagram or TikTok,” Mboya appealed.
