Ruto meets the four-year-old who cried over school reopening

The four-year-old girl who went viral for expressing her dislike of going to school for term two has met President William Ruto.

After Tinsley Nduta’s video went viral, Ruto reached out to her and persuaded her to reconsider.

The President gave Nduta, a student at Lizzie Wanyoike Preparatory School, and her parents a visit at the State House on Sunday.

“Accompanied by her mother Agnes Wairimu, father George Ngugi and sister Maureen Wambeti to State House, Nairobi, I emphasized the critical role of education in shaping young minds and preparing them for productive roles in society,” he said after the meeting.
