The mother of the late attorney Paul Gicheru claims that his wife is aware of the reason for her son’s passing.
On September 26, Gicheru, a suspect before the International Criminal Court, passed away.
According to the ICC, “He was suspected of offences against the administration of justice consisting in corruptly influencing witnesses of the Court.”
On Monday night, Gicheru was discovered dead in his Karen house; the cause of death has not yet been determined.
According to the family’s claims to the police, Gicheru took a late lunch and felt ill.
Josephine Wambui, his mother, now claims that he may have been killed by his wife.
Wambui claimed that her kid was in perfect health and hadn’t displayed any symptoms of illness, thus it was unreasonable for him to fall and pass away suddenly.
The distraught woman suggested that the lawyer may have received something dangerous that led to his tragic death.
“There is something he was given and consumed; it is not possible for a person to collapse and die without a cause,” Wambui said in an interview with TV 47.

The elderly woman recalled hearing once that her son was being mistreated by her daughter-in-law and that he thought she might be the cause of his demise.
She stated, “I told you to always be careful about the woman you marry and try to find out about their background before settling because his grandfather told me that he had married a bad woman.”
To confirm the death of his kid, the woman now wants a postmortem on the body of the deceased.
