Socialite Mishi Dora has responded to felllow socialite Shakila’s mockery of calling her a cockroach.
Mishi took to her Instagram to ask Shakila to stop starting a war she could not finish. She also referred to herself as an old cat, alluding that she had been in the game longer than Shakila, and that the latter should accord her with ultimatum respect.
“Don’t start what you can’t finish. Remember you can’t teach an old cat how to dance,” wrote Mishi.
She then proceeded to address the “mende” part. According to her, cockroaches are tiny animals can survive anywhere; hence, they should not be despised. She asked Shakila to compare how cockroaches walk in microwaves to how Shadrach, Abednego, and Meshack of the Bible walked in fire after King Nebuchadnezzar tried to burn them alive for worshiping God.
The part read, “Ever seen how cockroaches walk in microwaves or in ovens when they are Shadrack Meshack and Abednego? Be very careful with this insect. It is small but mighty. It can survive anything and anywhere.”
Here, Mishi was acknowledging that she will survive her current tribulations and will be on the entertainment space with a bang, contrary to how people are thinking that her career has ended.
Yesterday, Shakila went overboard while in a discussion with Eric Omondi’s female character, Divalicious by intimidating Mishi for being “outdated”. They were discussing about Kenya’s top socialites when Shakila opined that Mishi is a cockroach with bad looks in everything.
The mockery must have hurt Mishi, who is still recovering from the hardships she underwent while in prison for one month. She had been jailed for failing to pay an alcohol bill of Ksh 155k.
Mishi is, however, lucky because her fans have out in large numbers. In her response post, she posted her fans’ feedback regarding the saga, claiming that they would deal with Shakila for disrespecting a legend.
