Malindi pastor cancels wedding after couple engages in s&x before marriage

A couple’s wedding plans were derailed when the pastor called off the ceremony at the last minute due to their fornic*tion.

Most clergy advise couples planning a white wedding to avoid s*x until they are married.

The Tana River pair, who are members of the Evangelical Church, were set to marry on August 12 at King’s Glory Church in Malindi.

When the couple went for couple’s counseling, it appeared that they had not decided on what to say.

Unaware of the consequences of his confession, the man claimed to having canal knowledge with his bae before they could legally marry.

The lady insisted that she is still a virgin who has never known a male.

According to the Daily Nation, the pastor ejected the couple from his office and summoned the intercession team to seek God’s guidance on the problem.

After two hours of fervent prayer, he summoned them to his office and instructed them to separate and postpone their wedding preparations for the next 12 months, citing God’s guidance.

“So they were instructed to use the time to repent and pray, but also to make sure that they attend couples’ counseling every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday evening for that time,” said Helida Kase, a prayer leader at the church.

The wedding alterations have since been publicized in the church’s WhatsApp group, with the church administrator remaining low-key.
