Gov’t announces 341 Job vacancies paying Ksh 430K Salary; How to Apply

The Public Service Commission has announced 341 vacancies across various ministries and state departments.

A notice by the PSC on Tuesday said that qualified and interested Kenyans have until June 19, 2023, to submit their applications.

“Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission’s website or jobs portal,” the Commission’s CEO said.

The State Department for Internal Security and National Administration is seeking to recruit 117 assistant County Commissioners, 12 individuals under the State Department for Correctional Services as Director, deputy directors and assistant directors in the Probation and Aftercare department.

The State Department for National Treasury and Economic Planning is also seeking to recruit 155 people in various capacities.

The State Department for Transport, on the other hand, is seeking to recruit five people in the capacities of deputy director, Aircraft Accident Investigations and Senior Aircraft Accident Investigator.

The State Department for Culture and Heritage will hire 15 individuals as assistant directors of Kenya National Archives and Documentary Services and assistant Directors of Culture.

State Department for Tourism will recruit 13 people for various director and assistant director jobs.

The State Department for Wildlife seeks to recruit at least 20 persons, while the state department for Labour and Skills Development will hire four people as registrars and assistant registrars for various departments.

The State Departments for Trade and ASALs and Regional Development each seek to recruit one person in the capacities of Director of internal trade and secretary of Regional and Northern Corridor Development.

How to Apply

Interested and qualified persons are required to make their applications online through the commission website: www.publicservice.go.ke or the jobs portal: www.psckjobs.go.ke.

On the website, applicants should select the icon of the advertised jobs to proceed to the job pages and select their preferred job before applying.

Meanwhile, on the jobs portal, jobseekers should log into their accounts, and on the left, click on the ‘Applicant Section’ to select the job required.

On the portal, applicants get the opportunity to view their previously applied jobs and their progress.

Applicants are advised to update their profile with recent qualifications to increase their chances of being selected.

Some of the documents required from the applicants are curriculum vitae, referees, and national identity cards, among other requirements.

All applicants must submit before June 19, 2023, by 5 pm.
