King Kalala is a Kenyan female celebrity and radio presenter who mimics Andrew Kibe, a popular radio personality and YouTube content creator.
Her fans refer to her as the female version of the presenter for giving her two cents on different issues without caring what others will think of her.
She referred to herself as a misfit and chose to be called the king to emanate that she is taking charge.
King Kalala’s real name is Prudence Chepkirui. Her confidence and hoarse voice attract a mass of fans to her social media pages and live content creation.
She is mainly linked with issues of sexuality, relationships, and broke men.
In a television interview, Kalala explained her confidence as a value instilled by her parents during her childhood.
Early life
King Kalala was born in 1998 in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya. Her parents are Mr and Mrs Tonui, who are from the Kalenjin tribe.
She attended her early education in her birthplace before proceeding to Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (JKUAT).
She pursued a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and graduated from the university in 2021.
She was brought up in a Christian background, and she thinks prayer is crucial as it connects people with problems to God.
Career
King Kalala is a radio presenter at NRG Radio, NRG Circle, NRG plug, a youth-content station. She got the job after success with her social media pages that attracted many followers.
Besides being a presenter, she is a content creator, a position she started while still in university.
She garnered thousands of followers wither unfiltered views of life issues. Kalala has also opened a YouTube channel where she creates videos and gives her views on them.
She is also not shy to share her opinions on different movies and celebrities.
Her hoarse voice attracts her fans, and she is not worried by claims of her sounding like a man.
King Kalala has prefered to keep her personal life and love affairs away from the public’s eye.

Speaking in an interview with Dr. Ofweneke on TV47, the media personality disclosed that she moved out of her parent’s house at 22.
King Kalala also shared circumstances that forced her to leave her father’s house.
“I didn’t leave, this is what happened, I spoke with my father about pursuing art instead of continuing with school.”
“He gave me Ksh 3,000 and instructed me to return home with a degree. At this point I was 22 years, I left but a victim of circumstances,” she said.
