Nairobi Expressway Announces Well-paying 50 Jobs; How to Apply (No Degree Required)

The company in charge of the Nairobi Expressway, Moja Expressway Corporation, has posted 50 job openings that are open to applicants with and without degrees.

The company advertised sales and marketing positions on its website on March 1 in order to promote one of its goods.

The deadline for submissions from those who are interested in the position is March 10.

“We are seeking to recruit sales and marketing representatives to promote the Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) Service on the Nairobi Expressway,” the notice read in part.

The sales representatives will be charged with promoting the ETC service and enrolling new subscribers as per their given monthly target.

In addition, they would be required to answer queries from motorists using the elevated roadway and any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Applicants must also meet the skills and experience threshold with the latter capped at one year. They must be highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.

They should also demonstrate customer service skills, persistence and determination, excellent communication skills, work well with others and pay attention to detail.

An ETC device is among the payment options available for motorists using the expressway. A device is mounted on vehicles’ windscreens to allow them to pay toll fees without interacting with staff at charging stations.

How to apply

Log onto the Moja Expressway Company website; nairobiexpressway(dot)ke.

On the top menu, click the ‘Careers’ option which leads you to the career page.

Under the popular jobs section, click the ‘Service Center Sales and Marketing’ button.

This leads you to a page containing the job description, responsibilities and skills. Then click ‘Apply Now’.

A page containing an online form appears. Duly fill out the form progressively through the seven stages then click ‘Apply Now’.

Information required includes personal information, education, employment history, certification and licences, file attachments, disclosures and an e-signature.
