“Atakuja kuajiri wale walipata A”: Trio Mio’s mother speaks on her son’s KCSE results

Trio Mio’s mother Irwa Sofia Sakwa ha shut down speculations that her son has scored a D in the just released KCSE results.

In an Instagram post, Irwa said;

“Kooo Sasa Sitabreathe coz KCSE results zimetoka?? Tulieni.(Relax the results are out.) The boy did his best and am very proud of him. And those speculating a D ….poleni!”

Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) made Kenyan rapper Trio Mio a trending topic as they waited to see what he will score in the KCSE exams.

Fans have since been encouraging the teen rapper to be strong.

A fan identified as amoskimanzi said Trio is already an established businessperson with his career.

“Even if he gets a D or E whatever grade he is already where some A people would like to be. Soon he will employ A students to be his managers or videographers. It’s life.”

A day ago, the rapper released a track saying that he is not worried about his results;

“Ka topic ni success niko na A kwa school of life, ile KNEC watanipea haitawai determine food ya mine. Nyi wote mngekuwa na A mngekuwa ma civil engineer, mnapigania kuget position mtoi wa mkuu anaorganiziwa.”

The education minister announced that 173,345 candidates scored C+ and above.

A total of 1,146 candidates scored grade A.

Last year, 884,263 candidates sat the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education.

Following the announcement, candidates can now access their results through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website.

“Candidates will collect their results from respective examination centres,” Machogu said.

Those using the portal are advised to head to the KCSE tab and select the year they sat the national exams and enter their Index number.

For those using the SMS platform, the CS said parents, guardians, and students should send their index number, followed by the initials KCSE (in capital letters) to 20076 in order to access the results.
