Vashita Actor Wandahuhu cries for help, unable to pay rent says famous friends left him

Actor Frank Kimani, well known by his stage name Wadahuhu, lives in squalor and frequently has his door shut due to unpaid rent.

The father of three, best known for his appearances in well-known Kikuyu-language TV shows like Vashita and Muicii na Kihii, has endured a great deal, including losing his son to a mental illness in Mombasa.

“This man many times nyumba yake imefungwa (he was kicked out) because he can’t afford rent. Life has pushed him to the wall; most of his famous friends no longer pick his call because they are in important meetings,” said content creator Derrick Mbugua.

Wadahuhu was fortunate to land a few jobs with Gikarati and Kamangu, but they are insufficient to support him.

“To be honest huyu mzee needs help. No need to wait until you start posting RIP saying how you loved his acting and driving a Prado to his burial na juu wewe ni msanii upewe microphone usalimiane but when he was languishing in poverty and health issues you did nothing,” said Derrick.

“Wasanii support one of your own. The truth is behind these faces we see on TV every day, some of these people are going through a lot. It’s very possible to have a massive following and fans who want a selfie with you yet you are struggling even to feed yourself it takes a true fan to understand that being a celeb is not your networth,” he added.
