“Mapenzi itaniua!” – Diamond Platnumz says over pressure from his mother

Tanzanian superstar, Diamond Platnumz has buckled under pressure after receiving criticism from his mother for telling his two children, Tiffah and Nillan, that he didn’t have any more children.

Diamond’s mother was upset that despite looking exactly like Diamond, he didn’t even mention his son Naseeb to Tanasha.

“Why didn’t you mention your look-alike twin who you even share a birthday, what you did was not right,” she said.

Esma Platnumz, Diamond’s sister, claimed Chibu was creating a negative foundation for their connection with their other siblings.

“You have wronged the children, you should have told them they have other siblings, Tom Kaka so that they build a strong loving relationship from a young age and maybe even get to meet.”

As a result of the backlash, the celebrity on Tuesday erased the trending video.

Later that evening, Diamond sent Tanasha a picture of his son, perhaps to show that he had paid attention to what his mother had to say.

A sample of one of the songs Diamond has recorded with the talented ballad artist Mbosso was released by Diamond, who is also promoting Mbosso’s upcoming project.

The song, ‘Yataniua’, has not been released but from the video shared by Diamond, the song is about love being too expensive that it can even kill a person.

“The one who created love did not say it is painful, they did not say it could end up killing someone,” Diamond sings.

“Love is very expensive. It can cause hatred even with your family. Love is gonna kill if I am not careful.”

In the captions, Diamond said the song will be among the first releases from the EP.

“Kiukweli sikutakiwa kupost , ila tu kibinaadam Kukaa na jambo kwa muda jamani inataka moyo🤦🏻‍♂️… kiufupi EP ya @mbosso_ iko njiani na ina Mawe kwelikweli, Kiufupi Huu mwaka anaufunga yeye…. ukiacha #HuyuHapa Hii ni moja ya Ngoma zipo humo. Yataniua.”
