Jovial shames boda boda guy for calling her line endlessly after food delivery

Mombasa-based singer Jovial has called out a rider from a food delivery service for constantly calling her phone.

The Jeraha hitmaker said the rider recognized her while delivering food and confessed he was a fan. Since then, the gentleman has continuously called her number, even at odd night hours, to check up on her.

“I order food, you deliver. You tell me you are a fan, I appreciate. Aah simu za usiku tena? Kila saa simu, nilitaka kukujulia hali, why bruh? I don’t want to be rude. Wacha bana!” Jovial wrote.

Because of this, the award-winning singer has resolved to change her phone contact number.

“Respect people’s privacy! I love my space. Watu wangu wa karibu wanajua! Mnitafutie line ingine mchukue hii. Nabadilisha lina kama jambazi,” she added.

Unfortunately for Jovial and many other celebrities, fans obsessing over them in one way or another is one of the realities many of them have to live with.

Not too long ago, singer Akothee called out a fan stalking her while she was attending to her errands.

In her explanation, the unidentified individual seemed to have malicious intentions and wanted more than to have a picture with her.

“I had a business meeting at the cafeteria today. Then there was this woman who was very restless with her phone the moment she realized it was me! I am not sure she even ate the things she ordered! She was always looking on how to take close videos, I could see her try to zoom in, Imagine she didn’t say hi or anything, she had a cappuccino son age 16/17,” narrated Akothee.

“Can you imagine this woman incorporated her son into the mix of trying to take videos of me! WELL, I was with two business partners who were French, I have no idea what and where he wanted the photos to be aired! When I went to the toilet! She didn’t know I wanted to understand her motive! Man, this woman picked up her phone and zoomed me in, still tilted her camera to capture me while sitting! What a frustrated woman this is?” she added.

Due to the constant unannounced approaches by fans, Akothee said she regrets being famous and would love to live a normal life.

“I regret the day I became famous, this isn’t getting funny, Even with my neck support and funny face some people would still insist on a selfie. Eeee is this love ama ni kitu sijui?” she said.
