Chipo mwitu vendor Bevalyne Kwamboka builds house for her parents

Bevalyne Kwamboka, a Twitter influencer well-known for peddling chips along the side of the road, has pleased her parents.

The permanent home she built for them in Kisii was enthusiastically unveiled on Tuesday, Wednesday, 8 by the Kenyatta University graduate.

The pictures showed a modest house that was painted green with blue accents with a good-looking little veranda with red oxide finishing.

The Twitter influencer thanked her clients in the post for contributing to the project’s funding.

“To all chipo mwitu supporters and brands/ clients that have always trusted my brand to advertise/market your products and services thank you. Mama and papa are happy they have a mansion.”

According to Kwamboka, she started buying materials for the project in late 2021.

She acknowledged that, due to the escalating price of building supplies, it was not a stroll in the park.

“I would estimate the price of cement to be KSh 750 but later find out it rose to almost KSh 900. Dealing with the construction workers is also difficult.”

Kwamboka claimed that witnessing her parents leave the modest mud home where she was raised meant the world to her and that she knew they were proud of her.

“We grew up in a small house that we shared with chickens. It is a heavenly thing seeing them in a spacious dust-free house that can easily accommodate visitors. I am happy.”

While the majority of online users praised Kwamboka, some of them minimized her accomplishments.
