Chepkut’s son requests to meet President Ruto: “I want to have a cup of tea with him”

Sons of the former Ainabkoi Member of Parliament William Chepkut left mourners in stitches during the funeral service on Tuesday.

Dressed in a black suit, tie and white shirt, one of the sons asked if he could meet President William over a cup of tea to teach him things he needs to know.

“I want to ask the current president, I want to have a cup of tea with him and teach me the ways of how to become like my father,” he said.

People could not hold in their laughter as they marvelled at how confident the small boy was.

The hilarious moment did not end there as the second boy, stood on stage and boldly said that he will be Ainabkoi Member of Parliament when he comes of age.

“I want to send this message to mheshimiwa, MP Samuel Chepkonga that in the future, I’m going to become the Member of Parliament of Ainabkoi,” he said.

The audience clapped for the two small boys at how brave they were.

Chepkut died on October 8, 2022.

He breathed his last Saturday morning, the family has confirmed.

Family sources say he collapsed in his house and was rushed to Mediheal hospital parklands where he was pronounced dead.

He was buried on Tuesday in Eldoret.
