Nairobi Woman in Tears over Uhuru’s Retirement, Claims She will Miss Him

The outgoing president Uhuru Kenyatta has had his shares of hate, with Kenyans dissatisfied with how he ran the country, especially the skyrocketing cost of living.

However, He will today have a reason to smile when he learns that some citizens genuinely loved him.

One of these Kenyans is Florence Wambui, who became emotional when she was speaking of how she would miss Uhuru.

While in a queue to vote in Eastleigh, Wambui told Tuko that she loved Uhuru and was hurt to see him leave office. She prayed for him to retire in peace, assuring him that Kenyans would miss him.

“Enda tu kwa imani lakini tutakumiss,” said Wambui while trying hard to hold tears.

A man standing beside Wambui tried consoling her, asking not to cry only for her to reply hilariously that she is Uhuru’s girlfriend.

To prove her loyalty to Uhuru, Wambui revealed that she was voting for Raila as Uhuru had urged Kenyans to do in support of Raila.

She went on to ask Raila not to forget single mothers like her after he ascends to the presidency. She besieged him to help the poor people elevate their lives.

“Baba, Covid-19 hurts our income, and we don’t want it anymore. There is no work. I usually work with the Kazii Mtaani program, but the money is little,” she said.

On what she wanted to tell Uhuru, Wambui insisted that she would want to meet the president. She even asked him to search for her on Facebook.

She went on to disclose that she lost her husband to a tragic accident and hoped that Uhuru would grant her audience to help her solve her economical challenges.
