Betty Kyallo Explains Why She Will Never Do A White Wedding Again

Here’s Why Betty Kyallo Will Never Do A White Wedding Again

Once bitten twice shy.

Perhaps, media personality Betty Kyallo usually reflects on this wise saying when she thinks about getting married again in a white wedding.

It is every girl’s dream to walk down the aisle wearing a white dress and a veil to marry the love of her life, except for Betty.

According to Betty, the white dress can sometimes become a bad omen that makes the marriage not to last.

Speaking on her reality show, Kyallo Kulture, Betty narrated her own example to show how white weddings are overrated.

She claimed that she had dated her ex-husband, Dennis Okari, for four years, but their marriage survived only six months despite doing a mega-wedding that was the talk of the country for a long time.

She went on to explain that her wedding was huge; hence, she did not expect things to turn out the way they did.

“ I can’t believe how things went. It was such a nice relationship and very light. We had a special relationship. The wedding was huge and I didn’t think we knew what we were getting ourselves in” she said.

Problems started coming her way immediately after she was on her honeymoon.

She narrated, “Things started coming up immediately after our honeymoon. One thing after another with the family and after some time, I started feeling like that was not the life I signed up for and we started having issues and after some time, I decided this is not working.”

Her separation from Dennis Okari plunged them into an online bash. However, she claimed she was ready for the people’s unfavorable reactions because she used to post too much about her love life, something she regrets.

For Betty, her failed marriage with the father of her daughter, who has since married another woman in a white wedding, has made her develop a thick skin. The beauty claimed that she does not mourn relationships nowadays. She usually looks forward to going on other dates and live life.

“I don’t mourn a relationship. I move on very fast,” she stated, “I shower quick and starts again. I will go to my phone book and check, what was this other guy saying three months ago, and be like, ‘i dialled your number by mistake….’ I don’t mourn about relationships.”
