“Hatutapanga laini ya kupiga kura na ya mafuta” – Terrence Creative to Uhuru

The fuel crisis persists in the country despite the government claiming it is working hard to solve it.

Kenyans have been coming out to complain about their suffering caused by the shortage of fuel.

Yesterday, comedian Njuguna trended for sarcastically commenting that Kenyans are okay with the situation because they are used to queuing for things. He even thanked the government for doing less to avert the problem.

“Hatutapanga laini ya kupiga kura na ya mafuta” – Terrence Creative to Uhuru

Today, his fellow comedian, Terrence Creative, is trending for the same.

In his video, shared by blogger Cyprian Nyakundi, Terrence is heard giving President Uhuru a comical ultimatum.

He tells the president to decide whether Kenyans should queue for fuel or during voting. He told Uhuru to solve the fuel crisis if he wanted Kenyans to elect Raila into presidential office in the August general elections.

He told Uhuru that would not queue for fuel then later queue to vote for Raila: The president should choose one.

“Uhuru tukubaliene kitu moja. Hatutapanga laini ya kupiga kura na ya mafuta. Tukubaliane kitu moja. Uchague kama ni mafuta ama kura,” he said.

Terrence’s ultimatum has elicited some mixed reactions among netizens, with some supporting his opinion and others defending the president.

One Amolo G replied, “shida ya mafuta iko kila mahali awache kupiga nduru.” He even attached a news item by CNN indicating that the United Kingdom is also suffering from the same crisis.

Infographics Kenya Limited supported Terrence by saying, “Irreducible minimum!”

Bosire Nahashon asked Terrence to also include the re-registration of mobile networks that have also caused Kenyans to queue for long hours.

He said, “Na line ya safaricom”

Peter Gachathi was excited as he regarded Terrance’s ultimatum as a good reason to demonstrate for change. He said, “Baaaas,, Kesho kuna maandamano hapa njoro !join in.

As we wait for things to return to normal, we hope President Uhuru will heed to Terrence’s ultimatum and speed up the solving process.
