When they worked for NRG Radio, the two media personalities appeared to be inseparable, becoming one of the most divisive duos in the industry.

Their unrivaled chemistry led to them being recruited by Radio Africa Group’s Kiss 100 in one of the most high-profile job changes in recent memory. They were out of work for nearly three months when NRG management filed a lawsuit against them for violating a non-compete clause in their contracts.

After Kibe began attacking her online, Kamene claimed that she blocked him on all of her social media channels.

Jalang’o, she stated, has aided her in both her professional and personal endeavors.

Kibe’s departure

Many of Kibe’s friends abandoned him after he quit the media, and life became difficult for him.

He lost his car and residence after losing his main sources of income, and he was homeless for a period before getting back on his feet.

“2020 ilikuwa imeniokota bruh (2020 hit me hard), I lost my moti (car), I lost the house I was living in, I was homeless for a moment,” he confessed in a video on Instagram.

After opening his own internet radio station in 2020, Kibe relocated to the US where he has been living since.
